I feel like, now, in school, I've just got loads and loads to read---like a book per week, per class. It's awful, being an English major cuz that, cuz it makes you sick of your own major. (Well, it makes me sick of reading/writing, anyway, being flooded with this much work of it. It makes me wish for science and math back---it makes me wish I could memorize things again, instead of just reading/writing/analyzing.)
I don't mind reading and writing as much as I do analyzing. D8< Analyzing, I'm just like, "...what kind of things am I supposed to think about this?" xD Reading is okay until you're forced to, yes, and when you have to read something super boring and you just can't understand it. OR you have to translate it to someone who has absolutely no idea what it is, and you're looking for "stupid" words to describe big words like Existentialism and Subsequent. xD
Memorizing still sucks. At least for me, when it's stuff that makes no sense.
Oh yeah, writing only sucks when you have to write nonstop and your hands cramp up. I wish I was ambidextrous, to give one hand a break while the other writes just as well as the first one. 8D
